How do you respond to changes in your life? Where do you look for hope? Where do you see signs of hope in creation?

“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.” (Song of Songs 2:11-12)

Spring themed Quiet Days provide opportunities to look closely at the different features of spring and link them with aspects of God – his character, purpose and provision for both plants and animals

Springtime gardening activities offer analogies with our own lives, such as new plant growth, staking vulnerable plants, weeding and pruning.

God is always wanting to bring transformation and growth into our lives. Space is given to consider how we respond when faced with a new and challenging opportunity.

Creative space and time to ‘be’ in the outdoors, are core elements of Parable Garden Quiet Days. Walking in the garden or countryside, stillness, quiet, prayer and creative activities such as gardening, writing and artwork may also be included in the programmes.
