Gardening The Heart offers creative and accessible approaches to enriching ethos and values, as well as nurturing pastoral care, within Church of England and Community Primary Schools, to help strengthen and sustain whole school improvement.

Examples include:

  • whole school cross-phase project work to enables creative exploration and expression of ethos and values
  • pupil-led development of themed outdoor reflective spaces, such as Tree of Life, Peace and Prayer Gardens help strengthen a sense of identity and community as well as offer opportunity for nurturing wider relationships.
  • Collective worship and reflection resources, inspired by nature, seasons and gardening.
