Farms

For farms and community groups we offer talks,  reflective farm walks and support hosting of Quiet Days in partnership with local churches or community groups, as well as on-line seasonal reflections and resources.

A farm's seasonal cycles and rhythms as they reflect stages and situations in life’s journey, have endless potential as a starting point for outdoor spiritual reflection. On your farm you may already have grape vines, fruit trees, fields of wheat and wild flowers, which also make useful subjects for distinctive creative  reflection on Jesus's teachings including the parables.

Our Quiet Days and Reflective Farm walks  are themed around the seasons, subjects from nature or parables from scripture.

'Into the Garden - cultivation as a tool for spiritual formation and community renewal' recently published by Grove Books within their spirituality series, offers more on the theological basis for cultivation as a tool for spiritual formation as well as details of  other outdoor discipleship and  initiatives, for example led by church, community leaders and chaplains.
